01 / The reference

From store to 3D.

It started in a REWE store. With a camera and measuring tape, I documented the service point from different angles. My modeler used these photographs to build a detailed 3D replica, carefully matching the terminal’s proportions and distinctive features.

02 / Animation & compositing

Built digitally. At home on film.

I animated the finished model and composited it into the live-action footage. The movement, perspective, lighting and colour needed to work together so the digital service point would feel like a natural part of the scene. Working closely with the edit and grading team, I took the 3D shot through to its final place in the REWE film.
